Leadership and emotion: The three elements

The first form of leadership is the ability to control yourself and your emotions e.g fits of anger. It's one of the most complicated things on earth to control. You can get angry and control yourself. There will be circumstances that will push you to anger but when you remind yourself you are a leader, you quickly control yourself. 

Losing your leadership is like money difficult to earn but easy to loose.
Leadership is about the basics, your dressing, the state of your toilet or bathroom. But we learn. We cannot be models of everything.
Leadership is that thing which enables you have an impact on people.
You don't always do it intentionally, but by observation, you have an impact on people. Everything you do represents who you are. If you identify a model, copy them.

What do you expect when you spend time with people who complain, full of negative energy, who are crooks, you become that same thing.

 Change what you do, put energy into it and it'll change you who are. E=MC2.

If you want your boss to appreciate you, carry out your chores with enthusiasm. If you spend your time grumbling and talking badly about people you lose energy .

In leadership there are three elements

Aptitude: every action which characterizes leadership. What can make you apt to leadership? Physical charisma.  It isn't about having a big body, it could be your voice, your look- it should be provocative, alive, not dull or sleepy. Your walk. Men of power  undergo training on how to walk. It could be your dress style. You don't have to be in fashion but your appearance should be good.
You can have an imposing physique, not necessarily your physical body,  but how you carry yourself and you can work on it. Your communication style, learn how to dialogue, how to share. You can learn all of these via seminars not in books. Observe someone you admire and copy them.

Along with aptitude, 

Attitude. It's an ensemble of behaviour a human can have. It is the basics of being polite. There is nothing as bad as being a leader people tremble in front of but behind talk bad of low. You should inspire respect. You have no right to be rude to people because you are a leader. A fly can cause the downfall of a lion. A real leader should be respectful. To everyone who aspires to leadership you have no right to disrespect anyone. Correction should be in a form which educates the person. It shouldn't be about blaming and finger pointing, but raising the point and correcting the wrong move.
Your behaviour vis à vis of everyone is important. If you scream at your kids, when they grow up,  they will despise you.

Altitude : a leader should not stagnate. There should be change and you should grow. It is a constant fight to being better than the day before.
The secret to Altitude is your Attitude. Learning Attitude is the only thing which will make you grow. This is why it is important to travel. It opens up your mind. The world is bigger than what you know. When you stay on the spot you are in a box, you think everything is limited to what you know. Observe self flagellation in India, Buddhist monks praying, Arabic and Chinese alphabet. In Burkina Faso and Togo women are bread winners.
As a leader you must feel you are doing something new and you are growing.

Do you want to be a leader? To be able to control everything without imposing.
Learn to be coached.
You should be honest. Honesty goes hand in hand with integrity. You cannot do anything if you aren't honest. Lose everything except your honesty and integrity. If you approach anyone and they doubt you it is terrible. You have to rebuild it. Meet that person, tell them what you did and ask their forgiveness. When you have done that, never repeat what you have done.
